Charles Gaskill was born January 1870 in Brownsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. He is the son of Morgan and Lydia Ann (Goe) Gaskill. He is 1 of 10 kids born to them, he also has 6 half siblings on his fathers side with Nancy Hager. He married Emma, March 1891 in Uniontown, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. They went on and had 11 kids of their own. Emma is the daughter of Jacob Postman Allamon and Lydia Malone. She was born February 1873 in New Salem, Fayette County, Pennsylvania. She too is one of 11 kids.
